Here's two I did this weekend. something about the dugway geode wrap bugs me...maybe I'm just crazy. I really like the local agate wrap though, it turned out better than I expected. dugway geode wrap local agate wrap

Yep, I do see that the first one is a bit "buggy". I'm thinking of praying for it! LOL!

I like them both, but the 2nd one is really special--I really like the wire across the front.

I like the second one better - though they are both great work. I think what might be bugging you are the two straight lines moving up from the stone toward the bail. The rest of the wrap flows very organically - whereas those two lines are almost geometrical, just doesn't seem to match the rest of the piece. Though I wish I could do that.

I think you're on to something Toad; maybe the straight lines to the bail wrap is what's throwing me off. All I know is that it bugs the heck out of me every time I look at it! I'm really fond of the second wrap though, I'm definitely going to do more like that one.

That agate amd the wrap is fabulous! Beautiful stone and I love the wrap. The first once is nice too - esp. the stone, but, gotta agree, there's something buggy about it. I agree with Toad, I think it's the two straight lines going to the bail.

Buggy or not, that vuggy first wrap is really nice. I love the 2nd one too, although I think the wire across the front commands a little too much attention, taking away form the stone.
