Well, here's some cabs I made with some sterling silver wire thrown on'em........ Thought I'd show ya all my heart This purple stone is just as purty as it can be, what is it? Amy or sugalite? Some sort of white agate....Arizona maybe? and of course...threw in a Laker for good measure! LOL This was one of those "pit" rocks.....played with it till I got this: Hope ya like'em! All three very nice...the 3rd one my favorite, real intricate wire work and the stone remains the focal point..again great work lets see some more....Ron

I don't think it is ammy or sugilite. Almost looks like a jade - if it's jadeite you're rich!! Or maybe a thulite??
Think I like the first one best, but they all show off the stones well.

This is a picture of jadeite I found on the net....now whether it actually is or not is another story, as I have seen people ID rocks as Binghamite that are CLEARLY Maryellen jasper, so....this looks exactly like the first wrapped stone...... HELP!!!!!!! skywalker.cochise.edu/wellerr/students/Jade/Purple%20Jadeite.jpgIf this is jadeite ( ), then what should I price this pendant at? I NEED ADVICE PLEASE!!!! This stone is 2"x3/4"... Someone please help me out here

Marie-Mel--what is the id on the purple stone? I occasionally come across something that looks a lot like this w/colors raning from purple to various pinks. I was looking forward to hearing the possibilities--

Mel thought it was purple jadeite from Turkey. Jadeite is the main component, but quartz, potassium feldspar, and other minerals can be mixed in.

Thank you, Marie. Since Hwy 231 in Washington State is nowhere near Turkey, I will keep wondering. And--most important--I neglected to mention that as usual, your wraps are beautiful!
