I only did 5 yesterday and 5 today, busy with other junk. Anyhow, the first four are Stone Canyon jasper, still cutting from the 21 pound chunk that I got last year. Each cut is completely different....... The next two are red moss agate. Believe it or not, these came from the local pet store. They sell them as aquarium rocks!! Cathy got me 2 big chunks of it one day..... Check out the druzy!! This is some unknown jasper, some of the cuts look very similar to leopard skin jasper..... Ocean jasper, this was in my scrap pile. No cutting was required, I simply grinded it down and polished! Mexican crazy lace....... This is a piece of African Brecciated jasper, cut from a chunk that I received as a gift from Kim (rockyraccoon) a couple years ago. I love this stuff, she sent me a few boxes of beautiful rough, all from Africa..... How did I do? ;D

Wow those are nice Randy! I cannot believe the cool rocks your petshop has. I figured here in Texas, we'd have something good in our shops but they have only lava etc, no gemstone stuff at all. That is some eyepoppingly awesome moss!. Looks very much like red lightning moss from Durango....Mel

Randy, you and your pet shop rocks! Fan-frickin-tastic! they're all beautiful.
CFB, don't over look the pet shops. I've found a few good pieces at my local shops too. It's quite exciting to see that stuff in the bin, and the prices are usually quite good too.

Randy, the Stone Canyon kicks butt, the Red Moss is too cool. Love the shape of the unknown Leopard Skinnish one and the OJ looks like a boob. (sorry, LOL)
Hey CFB, the outdoor landscape stores are another source to check out. Randy gets Raspberry Aventurine from one near him. Hmmm... wonder if there are any online aquarium supply stores that sell rocks...

I think I shall stop at the pet store tomorrow! I think randy is going to have fun with that Stone Canyon for some time to come, and we will get to see the results. Woody

Love that 2nd stone canyon. I like how the healed fracture offsets the pattern of the stone.

Stone Canyon is always super and these cabs show how diverse the color pattern can be. Love the 2nd pet store rock. Great job as always! Amber
