I am extremely open-minded about being objective and finding the best qualities in material. Jade has many different qualities, none of which were present from JadeRough.com a.k.a. NileAllen on Ebay. He uses tricky photography, and forgetting there's no translucency above 1/2 mm thick (okay some jade isn't translucent, though that's what I'd like), and forgetting there's none in it with consistent green color (okay it's hard to find jade like I'd like, and I can appreciate jade with swirls of creamy inclusions if I have to) -- the clincher beyond tricky photography that had far more effort put into shadows in strategic places and messing with color (!!!) than it would have taken to include a straightforward pic with direct lighting (minus the teal coloration) -- was the fact that 100% of the pound I got is included with such an unusually SOFT white material that as soon as you go to polish it it washes OUT of the jade, leaving pits as frequent as pores occur in human skin.
This guy has no business ripping people off with his deceit. Many people are probably afraid to leave negative feedback in case he has a way of hurting their reputation in return. Oh, I forgot to mention I barely got two little cabs out of one pound before being reduced to pieces only large enough to make earrings out of, due to all the fractures you can hang a fingernail in.
Some people might buy this if he was honest about what it is, but not nearly as many as are with the tricks and dishonest tomfoolery he's enterprising with. I give him an "F" BIG time, and I am someone who was ready to look for just one, singe redeeming quality in jade, not being picky. Look at how this polishes -- it doesn't matter what you do -- it's full of pits (it's the third specimen down -- 5th photograph). Thanks and sorry qabout the bad news.
the thread with it in it, down a bit (I like the material in the first two not from him, a.k.a. the first 4 photos, though wasn't expecting material that nice from him.. what I got was nigh useless tho) :
