All very nice -- never seen that Psilomelane -- cool, and great little starburst in the lace.

Geoff love the Psilomelane, that is a favorite material of mine, I have seen the Botryoidal type which is silver crown, and have seen it in quartz but your markings look like yet another variety, beautiful stuff but so dirty to cab, love yours nice cabs!!!!!!

I love the lapis, what a fantastic polish on it! I also love the psilomelane. The pietersite is gorgeous too. That's obviously african, correct?

Correct Nate. I bought a 60.00 chunk at the rock show on an impulse buy. It's the size of a jumbo chicken egg. Geoff

Well worth it in my opinion, Geoff! If I would have seen a piece like that at my local show I probably would have snapped it up without a 2nd thought.

Geoff, That's a bunch of Sweeet cabs! The Crazy Lace has got to take the cake for me...but that Stone Canyon is so flippin cool! The shades in that Lapis are very cool as well. If we weren't just getting over with winter...I'd have chosen that one! How is the Psilomelane to work?? Does it grind dirty?? Just wondering cuz I'm slabbing up a chunk and am not sure if I want to keep it or sell it. It makes for an eye-popping cab though. I imagine that wrapped in silver....would look very nice. Steve

Steve, the Psilomelane works just like an agate. It is very messy, creating black Manganese mud, but not as messy as Boulder opal.
Slab it and see what you want to do with it then. Keep me in mind please, I'll buy a slab.
