We are planning to go Saturday and will probably be spending the night there. Having never been I am really looking forward to it. I'd love to meet up with fellow RTHer's! We will be tent camping. Steve

It is a great show but prone to rain, rain, and more rain. Be prepared. The year we went the hard core shoppers showed up in waders. The next year not a drop of rain and perfect weather. I heard recently this is last year there. Someone else will take over next year and moving location and date to Sept. Snyders is on a cow pasture. If it rains the dark mud isn't mud. It is (or was when we were there) a huge show with lots of rough rock and well worth attending (weather permitting).

I used to go every year when we had the Mariposa ranch. Like John said, it can be rainy and muddy but it is a fantastic show for rough rock with lots of different stuff and generally low prices. I'd rate it even better than the Bakersfield outdoor show which is another fine old style tailgater show......Mel

I will be there.........it is only a 6 mile drive for me. I've been going for the last 25 years and like has been said - hot, dry, cool, rainy, muddy, slippery, sticky and wet depending on the weather. A really great show for rough and most other lapidary related stuff. 200 vendors. The church ladies have a booth selling home made pies that are out of this world! The beer wagon has cold tasty draught beer..... er, so I hear, hehehe. Next year the show has been moved to Labor Day weekend. I have always wondered why they didn't move the show to a later date to get away from the tail end of our rainy season. OH, its raining right now. Steve, pm me and we can see about meeting up one of the days of the show. Bob

Sounds great. We will be there Friday and Saturday with some rock club people. Looks like I will be hanging out at the pie booth most of the time. Mmmmm pies. Steve
