I agree with Steve on the Crazy Lace and Pet Wood. #2 looks like a conglomerate, but no idea on whether there is a specific name.

#2 looks like some agate in matrix that I have that came from NV, only there was more matrix in the ones that I had. Bet it's gonna make pretty slices.

Thanks for the ID's one some of them. I guess #3 is going to be a tough one. The person at the rock show with me whom I would consider an expert wasn't sure either, he said he thought it might be "Juarez", but I'm not sure what that means. Searches for Juarez agate, etc don't seem to show any results so I am at a dead end since a search for "Juarez" typically brings up results having to do with killing or cocaine. Either way, it's going to be fun to slice up and see what happens. Picked up a highland park 10" saw at the show too, can't wait to get that running. He assured me it was a great brand and would live longer than me (my cholesterol levels agree!). Does anyone have any favorite brands/styles to look for in terms of diamond blades for the saw? Further, anyone have any good deals on a good used blade that still has life in it? I think I'll add a $5 paypal bounty to anyone who can give me a confirmable ID on that #3. Of course I'd have to be able to use the guess you give me and find similar pictures on google or wherever to convince myself you're right At this point I don't even know what to look for to compare.

#3 looks like some kind of seam agate.
I have some new 10" blades for $20. I have not shipped one yet so I don't know how much shipping will be.
Have a great day..........Tony

2 looks like a piece of graveyard plume (it just has a lot of the host rhyolite) or could be wendover plume from Utah. 3 looks like some of the agate I have from the big dig in NM.

With the reddish brown matrix, the bottom two look like Oregon thunder eggs Don

I agree on the last two as thunder egg. #1 Crazy Lace and #4 petrified wood. I'm thinking #2 and #3 idontknowite that's my :2cents: #2 is definitely some kind of plume agate and #3 is some kind of fortification agate if that helps any. Might try asking on mindat (http://www.mindat.org) website.

Here's my :2cents: for ya!
LOL - #1 Agree Crazy Lace
#2 - is a unknown material... probably something local to your area?
#3 Pretty sure it looks to be Big Diggins agate in Deming, New Mexico If Digdeeper was online and not travelin through Montana right now he could check it out as he's from New Mexico. I have material which looks almost exact to this from Dig Diggins
#4 is opalized wood - Probably Washington State - Looks very close to some of the Roosevelt material I dig. (also in the background of your photo it looks like a piece of Cripple Creek or Wildhorse Picture Jasper)
Thunderegg - Ahhh my specialty!! - That's an Oregon Thunderegg from Richardson's Ranch... Or as most eBayer's would call it to drum up sales, "An old Priday Ranch Egg". It's a double specimen and my guess is a Blue Bed Egg.
;D Hope that sheds some light for ya!
Jason
