I still can't believe my good luck! I cut a few more cabs Saturday but had to work Easter Sunday. I'd sure like to get out and try something every evening but I'm usually too tired. I think the most fun, tho, was standing out under the pouring rain with Jeff holding his littlest girl in one arm, and going through rocks with me with the other!!! I was able to get an instruction manual for the band saw and I need to find a few parts. One of the little sprayers for the Genie doesn't work, and I've tried everything but no luck. It's not clogged, just doesn't spray water. No serious problem; I just switch the other back & forth. The faceter is way beyond my simple mind at this point. I'd really love to see someone use one before I even tackle turning it on!
Now I just have to work my second job to pay for everything!!! And I wonder why I don't have any time ;(
Next on my agenda is cleaning out the garage so I have more room to work. It's a good thing I don't have to PARK in it!
Thank all of you for the nice encouragement....you're my bestest friends. Susan

Now what you have to do, as I have done, is let your rocks pay for themselves. We need to get you all caught up on your slabs and cabs and somehow find a way in your area to market your stuff.

Congrats on the haul!
I have the same Star Diamond slab/trim saw, assuming yours is 10". Mine has an auto feed attachment, so you might keep an eye out for one. It really comes in handy when slabbing.

The Genie geysers are upside down as pictured. Check for a kinked hose on side that doesn't work. The hose gets caught in pan/hood sometimes. Pull the hose off the geyser and see if air blows out. If so geyser is clogged. Mine do that from our hard water. You can also switch geysers to see if the one that doesn't work will work on other side.

That's what I've been doing, John. One geyser works fine on both sides. The other, even after cleaning out with vinegar just won't spray water. Can't complain about moving one from one side to the other!!!
Chuck.... I have a very old HP combo unit with an auto feed on the trim saw. I may end up keeping that entire unit just for the saw! If someone sees an auto feed attachment, let me know!!!!
I'm going up to Orlando this weekend to take my daughter to the Florida Odyssey of the Mind tournament, but you can bet I'll be back playing with rocks as soon as I get a chance next week! Susan
