It arrived today, the box was waiting for me when I got home. What an awesome gift! And in a nice Easter basket with some extra treats as well. Slabs and rough. I don't know what much of it is, I recognize the Rocky Butte, the Imperial, the Rhodonite, and the Turitella, but I'm not sure about the rest. That large potato shaped rock is intriguing, should I be slicing it? All those cab preforms are nice, I'm really looking forward to finishing them. Thanks, Fran for this gift that I did nothing to deserve. It will help to remind me of the gift we will be celebrating on Easter. Lee

I am so glad that you like it! Let me see if I remember what is in there...Second picture, top left starts with red jasper w hematite from Sheri, next to that is 2 chrysocolas that were from Jamie, desert dweller, and a picture jasper. Next row is dark blue dumorterite, the one in the center is a KY Geode. The small ones that I have cut open are an orange or yellow calcite but I love the pattern on the outside of that one. The bottom left is a turritella that I just cut this past weekend. I received that from Sheri and it has some wonderful fossils in it! the pink and green is a unikite from here in VA and another picture jasper and the one on the far right is either a snake river agate or graveyard point. I can't tell from here. The others you know. I just hope you can use them! Have a wonderful Easter! Fran

Thank you, Fran from the Pappas family as well. I'll try to get pics later today. She sent a beautiful bloodstone pendant for my wife (wrapped in gold and silver) - whose guess would have won - had I been wise enough to use it. She also included a geode that my son is looking forward to cracking open. And some slabs - including sodalite, porcelain(?) jasper, snake river agate, and some Idontknowites.
My in-laws are in town. My father-in--law just doesn't understand how people can just give stuff away. He asked me 3 times if I bought the stuff. "No, Fran is just really nice." Along with all the other RTH'ers. He obviously doesn't believe in something for nothing - he is very cynical. (like someone else I know - 'clears throat guiltily')
And Pez - there was a bunny pez dispenser. My son tore into that first thing this morning.
