Well, maybe not really a "trip", just went down to Livingston Texas to a pretty neat rock shop. Johnsons Rock Shop is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the rough trip on the gravel roads to get there. He has his whole back yard set up to look kinda like an old west town. He doesn't have tons as far as cutting rough, but he makes up for that with lots and lots of eye candy. I only wish I had taken my camera with me! If you are looking for Palm wood, this is th man to see 
I very highly recomend a stop by to see this place if you are in the area! You won't be disapointed!
A word of advice: If you visit Mr. Otis, DO NOT mention anything about music or you will be there ALL day listening to his story's about the songs he wrote and recorded over half a century ago!
