Well, when I was looking at Thunder69's post of Apache tears earlier, it reminded me that I still had some out tumbling in polish....The first time in polish, they didn't turn out too shinny so I put them back in CO for 3 weeks (I forgot them). Then I realized when I was pulling that load that I had another one rolling in polish too. That one was some quartz and it had been in rapid polish for 2 weeks. Some from past loads that didn't do so well, some from Naturenut and some from the rock shed and some I found. Oh, there was 1 in there from Amber. Well, pictures of quartz don't always look as good as they look in person and some just didn't do well but they are done.
These tears and obsidian (silver sheen, double flow, etc) have gotten the best shine that I have ever been able to get on them. I am really happy with that batch!

Those all look super! The apache tears are so cool, I did what you said with the ones that were not too bad and put them in a bowl that Tony made me and now have to get the perfect candle. I like the amethyst in this batch.
