After drooling over everyone's beautiful wraps for many months, I decided to TRY. So - copper wire from Brandywine, a rock that came out of my tumbler, Randy's tutorial, and with some pendants in front of me from some awesome wrappers: Lori (Sitnwrap), Jamie (Desertdweller), Sheri (Rockhobbit) and Nancy (Nancyid), here is my first try. The biggest glaring thing I can see here is the terrible tool marks on the wire ..oops, and then I see the biding on the bail slipped. Ok, guess I better keep practicing! Barb Front Back

Nice for a first try. Your wraps a nice and tight. One suggestion though, you want to make the bail large enough to fit a clasp through it.

Nice job Barb, I also saw where the binding slipped at the top. Did you crimp it down as you wrapped it with the flat nosed pliers? That would keep it from slipping. Otherwise the wraps are even, the swirls came out nice, you did a great job. Keep practicing, it just takes a while to get the hang of it all. You also might want to try painters tape on the pliers to help with tool marks. WTG Barb, welcome to the world of wire wrappers, I warn you though it's addictive..;-)

Barb: That looks darn good! You were off collecting in the rain when Lori was giving her wrapping lessons at Burro Creek! You got the knack now, a little fine tuning and you are all set!

Thanks for the words of encouragement everybody. Maybe I'll try a few more.
Amber, I really WAS bummed that I didn't get to see Lori's demo at Burro Creek, especially since when we were out collecting rocks in the rain, all I got was soaked :-) Barb
