I just got the latest flyer from Eloxite Corp. and I see that the MK 301 Gemking has been re-designed with a continuous rim blade instead of notched rim, and that the core is made more stout. I was wondering if the 301 is worth the extra cash since the 303 is also continuous rim and cheaper? I have a 303 in 12" and it cuts excellent. I bent my old 18" awhile back when a rock got loose but I straightened it out pretty fair but do have saw marks now. I am looking to buy a new blade in the future. Anybody have any experience with the "new" 301? Thanks, MSJ

I have not used one but pretty much everyone that has loves them. They are similar to 303C except there are notch like angled segments in rim. Rim is taller so more diamond rim. I really like the 303 and can't imagine something being better but that is the consensus. Cost to manufacture is higher so price higher. Punitive tariff passed recently boosted prices also.
