Those look great wizard! I especially like the blue lace and is that flourite in the top row? I have a bunch for tumbling but I have been afraid to ruin it... Fran

I've never had a milky haze from Aluminum Oxide or trouble with burnishing, so your mileage may vary.
Nice tumbles and impressive faceting.

I'm not sure you were banned. Or that you account was deleted. I can't speak for Mark or what he did or did not do after you started the "Should Wizzard be banned?" poll. But, the fact that you current login/account has a history of 97 postings that goes all the way back to you 1st posting early last summer - that suggests to me that nobody did anything and you simply did not log in for a while.
I could be wrong, maybe there is some sort of temporary user block or something. But, I think you just created a big stir and then just stopped logging in.
So welcome back, but don't make too much of "being allowed to rejoin" since I don't think anyone did anything to remove you -- or to permit you to come back. I suspect that was just something that played out form your perspective.
Anyway, best of luck for more enjoyable (and hopefully more evenly keeled) time at RTH this time around.

Those are some great looking stones. Love the variety.
I wouldn't have known anything about the "banishment" if you hadn't brought it up, Wizard. Short memory. But I imagine it will go away if you don't draw attention to it.

Wizard, does this mean I'm no longer on your ignored user list? Dang I'm so glad, maybe I can sleep better at night.

Redux.. clearly this is something you and others will not simply over look or move forward about.. if my post are very upsetting to you and others simply walk away and don't answer them. As with the issue of "banishment' I emailed Mark and asked.. he indicated I was never ban.. odd because I couldn't log in after the said fiasco.. thus I assumed i was ban and left.. I have just return and wanted to pick up where I left off. but this time I'll attempts to keep my thoughts and feeling about "other" issues at the door.. I'm here to share my experiences as a shoe string lapidary /stone cutter/ gem hunter.. and nothing more.. Clearly there are a number of persons here that have at least a small interest in my attempts (be it failed or succeed) in cutting my stones or perhaps I'm mistaken.. I would ask all of you "Let It Go" and lets move on.. Wizzard, it is not a matter of "letting go", so much as one of being constantly reminded. I wished you a better time of it this go round, and I was sincere. I try to say what I mean and mean what I say. I found this thread that marked your return only after you had made several postings that I thought were a bit "off" and I wanted to see how long you had been back or if there had been any comment. You have a way of presenting yourself that seems self aggrandizing, or at least to suggest things get weighted much differently in your mind. Like assuming you could dismiss folks criticisms because the RTH admin or the ProBoards admin has not thrown you out. It is like saying that you are great because god had not struck you dead. Maybe he just does not care. Even assuming that anyone had considered you after you left to so much as "unban" you and to "allow" you to rejoin. It was like you were trying to claim affirmation from what was in fact just that you had not logged in for a long time. You do seem to be trying very hard to give an impression of great experience rather than just answering the question or furthering the discussion. Don't be weird and we will likely get used to your style. Several of us, including me, do have "styles" and we are not all loved by all. If you really care to know, when I see you jumping on each thread to tell a story about your presumably vast experience, or to just talk about yourself, instead of answering the question - well it bugs me. Especially if you say something incorrect like "add water higher than the stones." Or, ramble on about your machines and how you clean then and how you identify rocks - instead of finding out what a newebie wants to do so you can really advise them on whether the 33a is a suitable machine. But like I said, don't be too weird, and I'll just have to get used to it.
