Careful... we're all gonna start calling Animal Jungle and ordering rocks from them... you'll lose your best source. ;D The yellows are electric and that moss is alive.

Dang Randy, you've got the best pet shop ever! That pet shop must have bought out some old timers collection and what gets me, is I don't even recognize those materials. Great slabs!....Mel

Haha, Randy said the owner's wife who did the ordering was into lapidary.

Actually, the lady that ordered them owns the house that I teach wire wrapping at once a month for the Tidewater Gem and Mineral Society. ;D

I'd say that pet store is more like a rock shop. I never even thought of going to a pet store to look for rocks, might have to check it out. I don't think the two we have in town have people interested in lapidary running them though. Those sure are some nice rocks. Sorry the Montana agate doesn't have any inclusions. Sometimes you get a dud. Looks like there is a little bit of a pattern to it but very faint. The ones in the third picture look like yellow paint was splattered on the rock. Very cool indeed.

I have lots more Montanas in the pile. What really sucked about this one is that there wasn't a single fracture!!

Those are some cool slices! Some of them look like they are an off shoot of amethyst sage with all the yellows and dendrites in it. Just not a lot of purple to define it. Keep getting bored Randy, we all benefit when you do! Fran
