Check out this tumbler! When you got more rocks than you know what to do with you get one of these! (Big ol tumbler on upper left) 12 barrels? That's pushing 150 pounds! Augh! There are rocks shuddering at the thought. sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/for/1691154354.htmlI spoke to the guy selling this frieght-train sized tumbler already. I am going down there Monday to pick up the Highland Park grinder but I'll probably drool all over that big tumbler and do my best to convince myself I need it... even though I probably don't. It would deplete all the rocks in the back yard in a few batches and I couldn't afford to feed it grit. A few barrels, if there are extras, might end up coming home with me anyway. BTW, I am really exited about getting that HP grinder! I've wanted one for years! I can't wait. Steve

Wow, I saw the thing in person over the weekend. It was a sight to behold! Barrels as far as the eye can see! Funny thing is last I heard he still hadn't sold it. I guess there's not a lot of people out there who need that much tumbling capacity.
I ended up coming home with 4 barrels and the smaller set of shafts in the picture. I was thinking of rebuilding it into a nice quad 12-lb tumbler or I'll just use the barrels.
BTW, that highland park machine turned out to be a frantom which is just fine in my book. It's now keeping the other machines company in the garage. Steve

I thought it was a Frantom. I had the same unit with attached saw. Same era/quality as HP.
