Howdy folks, Well spent Sunday on horseback and most of yesterday catching friggin discarded young Easter ducks that some doofus turned loose on our ponds to increase the duck overpopulation. So I took a couple of hours off for another rock hunt in my buddies gravel yard just to unwind. Here are the finds: Thanks for lookin....Mel Best find of the day, a nice sized moss/plume agate with very long streamers throughout the piece. Kind of like long flames or stringy plumes. Big agate with eyes and bands: Unknown, maybe worm bored wood: Golden orbicular rhyolite: Big agate with a botryoidal center and purple eyes: Another orbicular rhyolite: Color doesn't show much in these pics but colorful flint or chert with lots of pink, red and purple tones: Colorful brecciated jasper: Neat silicified fossil rock kind of like Indian Script stone except black and white: Couple of agate nodules one with moss and one banded: Various moss agates and a real red jasper:

*L* Dang what a Freudian slip! My typing is so bad *L* but in my subconscious I must've been thinking about how much I loved chasing them stupid ducks around with a net when I could've been doing something fun instead..Mel

The f is right next to the d. I just figured it was a simple mistake - anyone could do it. Good for a laugh.
