Before our NE Roundup, I made an order from Blairrocks.com Not an expensive order, just a few slabs and while I was looking through all the slabs he had for sale, I tripped across a rock wind chime that I thought was out of place...Well, I read the caption and it said that if you were a prior customer, which I was, the first person to click on it and put it in their shopping cart would have it. Even when I clicked on it and put it in my cart, I expected something to happen and have it removed or be gone. Well, it never went away and it arrived in just a few days with the slabs. The whole group A dark Moss A Russian Agate and a few others The wind chime Thanks for looking! Fran

Amber just got an order from them. I have to say that their pictures on the website look much nicer than the actual material. He definitly tweaks the colors. She got some "fancy violet blue" that looked really blue in the photo but has almost no blue in person. Some of the pieces are so pity that she will only be able to get one or two cabs out of a slab. They do have a lot of unique stuff and it is cheap but in end their stuff is just so so. Personally I would never buy from them.

I had not read this and just placed a order. I would still have placed the order because he had one slab I could not get anywhere else and it was expensive. So I thres in some other slabs and small bits of rough to round out the shipment. I will report on how much thngs differed from their photos when it arrives.

I am sorry to hear that Tony. The orders I have received have been pretty spot on with the descriptions. I do go into the extra details buttons on his site to see if he says they are end pieces, uneven or strait 1/4", etc. I hope deb's order arrives fine. Fran

Maybe I was being overly critical as I didn't see the pictures before Amber bought. The stuff he has up all looks pretty nice but I wasn't real impressed with the actual slabs. Like Daniel said he has some unique stuff so if you are a collector it would be hard not to order from him. I just wanted people to understand that ordering online can be a bit dicey.
