After some collecting, quite a bit of lurking around here and drooling over what yo have done I just picked up a tumbler ... finally. A little second hand unit with two three pound barrels but it's a start.

Oh, oh! Now you've done it. Sometimes you get a taste of it yourself. Other times someone gives you a freebie because you're "a friend." Still other times you come across it by accident. AND THEN YOU'RE HOOKED! You will want more, and more, and more. You can never look back. You have (s)tumbled on to something really good and it's perfectly legal. Even the white powder we all use. After you're done with it you get an awesome natural high seeing the beautiful polished stones that come as a result of it. Welcome to the hobby leadhand.

You've got a great "starter" unit--I am still using my double barrel three pounder. It's perfect for miscellaneous tumbles, perfect for small batches of "all the same rock" and it may last you a life time.
So, what are you starting with? Do tell!

Get two more barrels for it, because one is never enough ;D
