Don't know if I'm out of line here, but I just got an email from Delphi Glass (an online stained glass and jewelry supplier), and they currently have the Gryphette grinder on sale for $39.95. That's a heckuva deal for anybody looking for a way to make nice grooves in cabs for groove-wrapping. Here's the link: www.delphiglass.com/index.cfm?page=itemView&itemsysid=209230&source=R050610Just FYI. I have no affiliation with Delphi, but I do buy from them. Tom

Heck thats a good deal. Its tempting to get it just because its so cheap, but I already have a Gryphon Twister, got enough toys.lol.

That one is very small, 6 3/4 x 6 3/4 still probably big enough to groove, just so people know it is a smaller version one.

Oh, thanks, Amber - I didn't realize they have different sizes - I don't have one. I have an old Inland Wizard that I use the groovy head on.
Sorry if I misled anyone.

Saw the sale and bought it 43% off I believe it was. Better then .25% in a money market more toys. Have fun life's to short, Cliff

Does it have a way to get water to the blade or grinding wheel?

The Gryphette uses a wet sponge for wetting grinder bits. For just groove cutting it works well as the tiny table is plenty big enough for cabs and does not flex like the larger models. It has same 5 year warranty as larger models as well. I'm curious what shipping weight they are charging if anyone ordered one from them? Actual weight is 5 lbs. 8 oz. so 6 lbs. UPS or 7 lbs. if shipped in an outer box.
