I've been "toe dipping" here for about 3 years but I am diving in. I did it, I really did it, I ordered a Genie from JSGems yesterday. In fact, I waited until I built a work bench for it and the rest of my stuff so I could make it the final piece.
. Thanks for all of the inspiration and guidance from Ralph, Mary Ann, Sherri, Frane, Jo, Amber, Biker Randy, Mel, Tony, etc,. etc. Just for fun, I will be posting pictures of the work space set up as it progressed.
I have many, many cabs to finish that I started on the flat lap so I am looking forward to posting them as they get finished. Thanks to ya all. Karock

Congrats. You're gonna love that Genie. After a few days using it, you'll wonder how you ever survived without it. Don

You are going down the slippery slope where you stop watching TV and all your family and friends are standing by to snatch up your creations. Just make time to exercise so you can keep your strength to cab some more! Congratulations :-)

Very cool, and there's almost no limit to what you can create with one. We're all looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

That is great news! I was advised to use an agate first to break the system in. Then move on to the other preforms that you have on hand. That way, you can get a feel for it before you start on the ones you really want to turn out wonderful. In the process, that agate may end up being a favorite! You whip right through the process compared to the flat lap! Have fun! Fran
