these are my 1st successful wire wraps . i started story in the Cabs section , if you want to see the start of todays challenge. i started out using Randy's wire wrapping tutorial . how ever since i had past problems with finishing yhe wire endings . i decided to improvise . i have a LOT to learn as well as a lot of room for improvement. well here are the picture of me 1st 3 completed wire wraps. the wire is Silver . and the chains are from Eloxite ( Cobra chain) all 3 together uncertain . maybe crazy lace or laguna. for my Mom on Mom's Day another view Lapis Lazuli -- for my Wife on Mom's Day another pix Marra mamba for my Wifes' Mom on mom's day better pix of cab thanks for looking !! --paul

Well these look just pretty darn good for being your first wraps! Kudos! And I completely agree, I'm giving my Mom a wrap for Mother's Day too! Covers the whole a lot of thought and time put into it deal ya know? Krista

My early wraps did not even look that good, you did pretty good on those! I like those chains, I will have to go take a look at Eloxite.

Paul! Those are great! I keep looking at the Marra Mamba and how you oriented it. That was pretty clever. You were bound and determined to get these done for your special ladies and you did it! They are gonna treasure these! Jo

Really good for your first ones. My first ones did not look like that. My mom and mom in law got wire wraps too.

Thank You , all for your compliments ! all of the Moms in my life , really liked them .
i actully wrapped 4 thaat evening . i had to do the Marra Mamba twice . the 1st time i was almost finished , i think that it was better .but as i was getting ready to crimp the binding at top ...... i screwed up and grabbed the wrong pliers .......... ang cut the wires ............... i almost cried , after all that work. i promise to make more .. i hope to improve , in time . THANKS !! --paul I have done about the same thing cutting the wires. I was trying to cut the wires really close to the bail and ended up cutting the bail itself. It is heartbreaking especially after putting all that work into the wrap. Keep wrapping.
