I'm not sure where the thunder egg came from but this pattern really intrigued me. I have never seen a pattern that has perpendicular striations adjacent to each other. The cab is 2-3/4" wide. Bob

That is very unusual. Looks like there were severe geological shifts while it was forming.

That reminds me of a farmer's wheat field. The farmer just went by with his harvester and needs to come back around and get the rest. Jo
