Donnie, The material comes from Glass Buttes in Southeastern Oregon. The site is open to anyone who wants to collect there. Probably a bit cold and such in winter. You don't often see much of it being sold beyond the western states. It constitutes a small percentage of the overall material found there. I do run across slabs of it at local gem shows, though. Bob
