Except for the coral, these came from RockRookie from the trade I did with him for the glass. He threw in some rock for me as well. The glass is very pretty BTW! Thank you Paul Graveyard Point plume Lake Superior from RockRookie Laguna Lace Indonesian Coral Thanks for looking - Donnie

Question about graveyard material. Several years back i inherited over a ton of material from an old rockhound friend who moved on to the big rock pile above. In cluded were at least a dozen large slabs of graveyard. Now comes the question. Has anyone ever heard of, or seen a piece of graveyard hith a patch of fire agate in it ? One of the slabs has a patch of fire about the size of a dime in it. Don

I don'e see Lakers cut that often. I like it better cut - at least this one!
Will you do some sort of backing on the plume?

Don, that sounds really pretty, could you show us a picture of that, please! deb193redux, I have never done a backing before. What would be the purpose of doing that? As far as cutting the laker, I can't help it, saw a little bit of pattern on it & I just had to see what it looked like inside! I cut the others he sent me too! The lace, indio moss & coral all came from rockin-in-oregan on ebay. The rest of it came from Paul - RockRookie.

Darker backing can make a plume really "pop". Search for some pics of Tony's (Amber's ??) plume with black epoxy backing. I don't recall if any of Shannon's doublets use plume, but that works well too.
