Whoooops ...
I just knew that when I checked the barrels about 3 weeks ago and thought that I wanted to stop to a) add more carnelian to the batch and b) decided whether I wanted to add more of the exact same rock to the softer batch that I would stall.
So ... once again ... I am starting up these batches again, probably by Thursday.
I need to go through more carnelian rough and pull some good additions to the batch as I see some of the smaller more finished pieces as being pulled.
The softer rock is actually very pretty. However, as with anything soft and hard at the same time .... there are issues with those pieces. So I will be carefully pulling some of the more finished pieces in that batch as well and adding more rough.
To be honest .... I would actually love to keep going in this manner until I have complete and full batches for the UV-10.
We'll see .... Pictures will be with what I stopped that batches at by Thursday and pictures of the additional rough I will be adding to each batch.
I know that there are those out there that will spot obvious (although i would miss it) issues that will need to be addressed before I get going again. And you know me .... I want and need all input!!!
