I have been out of the loop for some time while I work on building some new show displays and working on my metal art and craft stuff. Here are a few pendants I have managed to get done lately. This is a simulated opal This is a Boulder Opal from my stash, it also has little pinfires of almost every color depending on how the light hits it. And this is another simulated opal but cut at a different angle. It's not my favorite in a picture, it looks much better on. Thanks for looking

I'm not much on opal, but love your silver work. Don

I *really* like your designs as well--just enough flair.

Yeah Phil! We were just looking at your pieces I have from you last night, and I commented to Tony that you have a style that is so your own, that really is a sign of a great artist, when someone can look at any of your work and know it is yours. We are both sort of struggling with silver designs, me with the clay and him with traditional smithing. I like the tube usage in the first one, and the different bails are cool, it is hard to think of something new and different to do!!! Very cool and always glad to see you post! Amber

I do silver work too and i really like your last piece. Opal is my favorite stone, and I've wanted to get my hands on some of that synthetic stuff for a while now.

Amber Oh, come on now Amber your going to inflate my ego talking like that. Seriously thank you but you know it's funny it took a long time for me to really consider or even call myself an artist and I feel I still have a long way to go. I know it can get frustrating sometimes trying to design something. I personally cannot sit down draw a design and then go make it, I tried and I will tell you none of them ended up on here. I actually take my cab sit down at the work station and just let it fly. I will say a few glasses of wine can help out sometime if you get stuck. ;D Keep at it and you will find your own style.

I love your work. Not only are they beautiful but they are fun to look at and follow the design flow. I really love the last one.
Funny you should mention a few glasses of wine to Amber. She did a super wrap job with a few glasses under her belt. lol.
