Hello everyone, we are headed to Colorado around the Woodland Park, Colorado Springs area and I am just wondering if there any good rock shops in that area. I find where there are a lot of clubs but not shops.
Thank you, BeLinda

there is one rock shop in Woodland Park but he mostly goes for Indian things. The best close is in Colo Springs ACKERLYS on stone ave. However if you go to hartsel there is the Bayou Salada and most of the material is collected by the owner It is also the best ice cream in the area. There is also a shop in Cascade on the way to W Park good stuff ok price. If I may ask - When ya coming out ? Are ya just visiting or collecting also? There is a good rock show at the Western Museum of Mining History in Colo Springs on next weekend 26 & 27 with speakers too. OR the Lake George Min Club show in Aug 20-21 40 dealer's. ( I am part of that club Or the ContinTail show in Buena Vista the weekend before. Lots of places to collect if ya want. Dicky Green Mountain Falls , Co.
