Wow! That is an amazing collection. Tell your neighbor, I approve. He must have stuff no one can find anymore. That is amazing.

Holy choochoo, Batman!!! I'm guessing he's kinda into trains? LOL!
What a collection! There are model stores in this town that don't have half the inventory that's in his basement.

Yep, my neighbor Ed is quite the character. The train cars that are carrying logs first had plastic logs and he liked the real wood look so he cut them himself. He buys kits and puts them together and sells them. He says he makes a decent profit doing that and puts the money back into purchasing his rare finds. He's the kind of guy that would do everything he can for you, if it is at all possible. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Oh Jo, Bobby would flip, he is such a train nut, my whole basement is track of some sort that he just constructs over and over, even at 9 trains are still his favorite! What an awesome collection.

Jo Thanks for sharing and thank your neighbor for letting us see his hobby. It would be easy to lose track of time just looking at everything. It is just so cool.
We have a pool supply store down the street that turns itself into a Christmas shop in the winter. They set up their huge front showcase window with a Holiday themed train set. Often there are people five deep waiting for a spot to see it.

Woah, that is cool. Now I have to add that to my future hobbies, right after aquariums, brewing beer...
Really, I have always liked model RR's!
