I have been working on the ranch in Deer Lodge and Avon, Mt for the past several weeks. Lots of calves (sorry no pics), lots of fence fixing, lots of ranch work. I did get some pics of last week. Looking West. It was cold and we did get snow. Glad the 5th Wheel has heat. I took the Pictures while Debby fixed breakfast. Looking East, morning sun rise. Sun set the same day. Great day, Debby had to return to Missoula. Penny wondering what the heck I'm doing - I think she wants FOOD. I have photos of a recient polished batch, Cabs, Wraps, and new finds. I have ben reading and catching up on the news and new things. I love all the cabs I had to read 5 pages. Most of the areas are 2 to 3 pages. I am making progress. Debby & Tom

Dang that does look a bit crisp out there. Your comment about the fence mending brought back some sucky memories *L* of the little ranch we had in California. God how I hated stretching and splicing barbed wire fences. Seemed like every time I drove up I had to spend half my time on those dang fences. You sure got some wide open spaces up there in the frozen north but very beautiful too....Mel

Nice pics. I was through that area about a week ago and the mountains near Deer Lodge were snow capped and beautiful. I think Penny is waiting for you to throw the ball...lol.

Thank you - Penny will not chase a ball more then 2 or 3 times. Then she feels you through it away again you go get it. She will only go into water to her belly. She is in estrus now and will soon be bred. We hope she will have puppies this time. January she just went to play and did not take - so no puppies. I will post pics if she does. Again thank you. Oh, that looks beautiful but you know, my grandpa used to say if you have late snow you are gonna be hit with a hot summer...Most times it has held true so we may have a hot one this year here! Penny is beautiful! Good luck with the pups! Fran
