I've done very few wraps and not sure I've ever posted pics of them. So here's the first one in a while. I don't have the courage to use sterling or gold fill yet. Ed bought me some sterling wire the other day to wrap a couple of his cabs.......but wanted to practice with some copper for a few. Hopefully I'll be posting a few more pics in a day or so. Please be honest and critique! I know my wrap at the top is sloppy, I've always had a hard time with those.

I think it looks nice and simple. That is how I like them. The flow wires that come down from the top to wrap around look a little twisted so I would try to smooth them out but really, over all I think it looks great! Fran

Sandy even your first wraps looked good, I remember them selling when the rest of us sold nothing. Nice job. Donna

You did a really nice job on this and the simplicity is lovely.
If you are talking about the bail binding when you say "sloppy", it is just a matter of practice. Almost all wrappers go through that stage.

The top doesn't look sloppy to me although I think a longer bail wrap might help give you more room to evenly wrap it at the top. I try to judge the height of the bail wrap based on the size of the cab. It is hard to get those wraps even and tight.
