So are you doing the Madras show? If so try to get into Prineville too. We did both years ago. Both were real rock shows. Take a lot of local rock. I kicked myself for not taking local material. Many people had Oregon/ID/WA local stuff. A friend was there the year before and had many see their CA license plate and ask for Lavic jasper (31 miles from me). We tried to get into Cascade Locks also but never made it through the waiting list. They run on consecutive weekends so makes a nice circuit. Check out Richardson's while up that way too.

When we were there we didn't make it through the waiting list to get into Cascade Locks. We went anyway but it rained all weekend so we toured the dam/locks instead. Can't tell you how the show was. If you go up early go to Prineville for the show anyway. They had nice field trips every morning and if they had a cancellation you would be ready. If you have time to goof off while up that way there is a lot of neat places to see. We went to Portland, Mt. St. Helens, Seattle, toured the islands by ferry, etc.
