Hello,
I am interested in buying a few parts for Model UV-10 Industrial (Stk #183 IND) & Model UV-18 Industrial (Stk #180 IND) tumblers and can't seem to find where I can buy them. The MFG isn't replying.
What I would like to buy is the following:
1. 1 - Bowl washer for UV-10 Industrial 2. 1 - Lid washer for UV-10 Industrial 3. 2 - Bowl washer for UV-18 Industrial 4. 2 - Lid washer for UV-18 Industrial
5. 1 – Manual for UV-18 Industrial (Stk #180 IND)
Please advise where I can buy these items. The washers are the ones with the foam on one side.
Thanks David

Check any rock shops in your area. If they don't have the parts, they'll order them for you. I'm not sure, but I think the MFG. only sells through their dealers. I'm having the same problem getting parts for my UV-18. Don

Check with Shawn Kuhnel at The Rock Shed (www.therockshed.com). I don't know if he carries parts for the Ultra-Vibes, but I bet he can tell you where to get them, might even be able to order them for you.

Hi David,
I don't if this applies, but I have used regular washers to replace the stock rubber/metal washers in my UV-10 before. Jo

True Square does sell direct. I'd check the hardware drawers if it was me. A regular flat washer and a nylon washer or neoprene washer would work. Or, buy a sheet of gasket material from an auto parts store and cut your own.

Thanks for all the replies. I sent a couple emails to the mfg., but no replies. Guess off to the hardware store this weekend. I have a UV-18 Ind that for a great price used very little dry and I brought a UV-10 bowl for my polish cycle and the washers are different sizes for each bowl. David BTW-New at this. Santa (me) gave my 8 yrs old son a 33B for Christmas and that just started it all now we have: 4 - 33Bs (1 for a spare, 2 were brought used) 1 - 33A (brought used) 1 - older used QTNR (QT66) 1 - older used QTNR (QT12) 1 - new QT12 1 - UV-18 Think I went overboard? LOL ;D Next will be some type of saw. I'm in high tech and I use this to get away from the computer at night and de-stress with my rocks and a glass of Merlot. I love this board.

You may have trouble using the 10 lb. bowl on an 18 lb. I'm guessing the weight is engineered into the springs and motor weight bar for proper vibration/action. The 10lb would be basically like running it 1/2 full.

Thanks John. I got the idea from somewhere it might have even been this board. I have run a load in the UV-18 with a UV-10 bowl and it did great. Ran into one issue at the end and it was my fault. At the end of the polish stage in the UV-10 bowl, I added a cup of water, saw a hint that would help with cleaning the rocks. After I added the water, I saw what looked link fine grit floating on top. I think that this was from the washer. I didn't think about it before I changed the bowls to really clean the washer with the backing on it. The washer fits great on the UV-18 bowl, but is larger the the top of the center column of the UV-10 bowl. Thus is why I am looking for new washers. A set of washers just for the polish stage. I caught it right away, so the load still came out great for us. It does take a lot to fill that UV-18 through.
