Looking for glue recommendations to attach bell caps to polished stones and small cabs etc.
Do you use super glue, a two part epoxy, or other?
Any tips and specific brand\part numbers also welcome.

I used goop from the local hardware store, get the one for marble if you use it. worked good for me, but I know others use superglue, or epoxies for theirs. goop dries clear, and holds strong.

i use Epoxy 330 . . i was refered to it buy Bikerrandy . i bought it from Eloxite , also randy's referal . don't mix up very much at a time --- fast drying !! holds great !!! they also have 220 that is supposed to give you more time , but it bell cap may shift before it drys . i mix the epoxy (it comes in 2 seperate tubes ) with a toothpick (work in well ventalated area) clean bellcaps in nail polish remover as well as contact point of pendant . i let dry on alunimun foil . it has helped me to put a little criso to keep from sticking . i hope this is helpful . --paul

I use E-6000 craft glue. Very tough rubbery glue that dries clear. I think it holds better than epoxy 330 plus no mixing and you can get it at most craft stores.

Hi Ksk
A Epoxy quick setting glue (5mins)
My wife stands the stones upright on gluetack strip and uses a cocktail stick or tooth pick to apply a small drop of epoxy
Dont use to much glue, Epoxy is the strongest glue on the market
For other jobs (Duplicates & Triplicates ) A epoxy that is reposionable that sets a lot slower is a big help
Wet Epoxy glue can be wiped off with Acetone so you get a smarter finish
OH another tip use a small grinding stick or wet/dry paper to rub the place where the bellcap has to go ,so the glue can get a good hold of the stone, (this is one of the biggest problems of stones comming loose)

For bails I use Aileen's metal to stone glue in the teal tube at AC Moore or Michaels
