Hi all, Dedicated to Tom Kuzia Who started me of on the silversmithing road I Just finished this off 1 --- Top view 2--- side view 3 --- Bottom View made from 1.5mm square wire , Gallery strip round the stone ring 3mm X 1.5mm in Sterling Silver This monster has taken a while to work out Bought by the ladies husband who died 2 years ago she hadnt found anyone to mount the stone, so I said I would mount it,(I wished I hadnt many times) this is the 3rd attemp it has come out not to bad Comments greatfully receved Jack Yorkshire UK

I have looked that ring over carefully and all I can say is you have done one fantastic job! That lady will love it! It was well worth all of your extra effort and it is really an accomplishment to be proud of! Fran

Yes sirree:) Very nice job and I can see where this whole design could have caused some problems but you hung in there and wah-lah a beautiful ring that is custom made and very special:)

That ring is a beauty. What a wonderful thing you have done for that woman. Whatever the first 2 attempts looked like, the third is obviously a charm. Beautiful craftsmanship.
WTG for you and kudos to Tom for the inspiration he has given many to raise their own levels. Mine included.

Ohh I love it, I really like the bezel wire on that setting, it looks like a bugger to set you did an awesome job, you should be proud and she will be thrilled!

Yes the design came out of a way to hold the gallery strip, the stone is about 1mm above the ring

Hi Adrian, Thanks, yes Tom has been a great help and shares his ideas freely as you do also, and others on RTH that is what makes RTH so good for everyone

Well John after a lot of thinking and planing you turned out another thing of beauty!! I know you worked on this design for a long time and it was well worth the effort! I am truly honored that you dedicated this ring to me for getting you started out in your silver work but all it took was a little nudge from me and off you went!!
Just think,,,,,,,,,,,there's a whole bunch of us here who not too long ago couldn't even polish a rock in a tumbler!!
