A year or two ago I found a deposit of this stuff I call Bacchus rock, and I just took a really good photograph to use on ebay so I thought I would post it here for your enjoyment to. Attachments:

The problem with this stuff is that the yellow green areas are softer than the rest and sometimes pitted. The white and red are extremely hard though. That piece is probably the size of my palm and it took half an hour to cut each side with a normally aggressive saw.

That is a really pretty stone! I wonder how it will hold up when being cabbed. I suspect you would have a hard time tumbling it due to the different hardness's in the stone. Fran
