This is for the glass enthusiasts out there. I took a couple of boxes of slabs to the Smithville rock shop today. Always have to come home with slag glass of colors I dont have. Thanks for looking, snuffy

You have some fantastic pieces and amazing colors there! I like to slice it up, cut out some preforms and gently tumble them. They can sure turn out nice! Fran

Nice colors! I'm prepping a load to go into the vibe now (weeks of tumbling small batches through stage 1) I am hoping I can get it to sparkle! I like the reds you have.

That is the best looking glass.Sounds like a lot of people tumble, slice and knapp glass. There is a glass recycler here in Atlanta that sells crushed glass from bottles for about $100 per ton.Mostly seperated in mixes of browns, greens and blues. It is 3/8 to 1/2 inch chips.Fun to tumble and less waiting time.No comparison to your slag stuff there;that stuff is fine. The fastest to tumble glass i have found is tempered glass that is used for furniture. It is 3/8 to 3/4 inch thick. It rounds very fast, but lacks color.
