Ok, I jumped in with some salvaged electrical wire, a small pair of side cutters and five thumbs on each hand. They aren't much to look at, but I thought it was good for a laugh.

Brent, don't be so hard on yourself. I'd wear either one. I especially like the one on the right.

Very good for your first wraps. Imagine what you could do with better wire. BTW, I've seen your hands and only saw one thumb on each one...

I like what you did to both of those. They look pretty secure in there & it sort of gives me an idea on how to handle several tumbled stones I have!

Taking the first steps is the hardest. Keep practicing and it will all come together. Great Start. Ed

Thanx all. I might have to get some better wire and try again. It was fun.

I like the stone on the left. It looks like it's wearing a string bikini. LOL Don

Haha! Now your hooked. You may have started out with electrical wire and cutters you had on hand but ........... Welcome to the world of wire wrapping. I love your firsts and I'm serious. Brent I started out the same way only with regular scissors for clippers and my firsts were much like this only your bails are so much better than mine were.
WTG!
