Well I'm a bit hooked on these things. They aren't anything fancy and I didn't even tumble the stones but I do enjoy making them. Guess what family members are getting for Christmas. lol  I really don't like the shape of this tree but I was experimenting. Also, I tried something a little different on this one. Amber and I have a lot of leave bails, the kind you bend over the front and back. We will never use them so I though of incorporating them into a gem tree. What are your thoughts on this? I'm undecided about it.   |

Dude those are terrific! I really like the use of the leaf bails as leaves, pretty ingenious if you ask me. I've got a bunch of tumbled fire agate minis, if you're interested I'll send you some.

I am not a real big fan of gem trees either but the leaves really make the tree!

Very cool, Tony. Looks like you are going tree happy. Hmm, gem trees are sure better than the half dead real ones we've been cutting up lately. I like the leaves, adds a little something to the tree although I would put less of them on it just for variety.
