I gave my first wire wrapping class this past week. These first two are wrapped in Brass and done at the class as demos by me. Any idea what this stone is? Or what this is? This one is in Sterling Silver. I don't know what it is either. This one I did for a friend who gave me a jar of some really cool rocks. This one is for you Jim. Another one from Jim's jar. Uploaded with ImageShack.usThis one is in gold and silver. I don't know what this stone is either. I kinda stole the idea for the wrap from Marie. Hope you don't mind. I changed it, and yours came out better, Marie. I had a lot of trouble with this one. Thanks for lookin'. Amy

Amy, your wraps are beautiful as always. And I hope you don't mind me asking--where did you find square brass wire? I've been looking for square for what seems like forever!

Looks like your friend gave you some really nice mosses! I can't hardly tell what colors are in that first one. If it has some purple in it, it may be an amethyst lace that has a bit of agate in it. I am just not sure on the others. You did a great wrapping job on them all but I think the last is my favorite! Fran

#2 and 3 look like some kind of wood to me. Pretty purple in #1, no idea what it is though. #5 looks like a WWR Plume. I love the wraps on all, but the last one is my favourite-it's very elegant the way everything swoops from behind.
Nice work Amy! kj

After looking closer, I would guess 2 and 3 are wood also. 4 I would guess to be Murry mountain moss or a red flame agate. 5 I would guess to be Mary Ellen jasper I have no clue on the last one but it really is pretty! Fran

I have a slab of the Maury Mountain that I cut a nice cab from with 3 druzy places that should look great when done. So I can say with certainty that's what it is. All real nice works.

All of them look beautiful. You did good once again. That brass wire looks great on those stones. I may need to get some brass. My favorite of these is the first one, really beautiful cab with great colors.
