Okay, Stephan wanted pics of this chuck I use on my Dremel so I can use .75mm drill bits. There is no chuck key or wrench needed and it will handle tiny drills up to about 1/8" or so. Standard collet with 1/8" shaft diamond burr Collet removed finger chuck with tiny diamond drill bit finger chuck wide open I think these might come in some of the Dremel kits that are sold, if not, you'll find them next to where they sell the Dremel tools. That's the setup my dremel came with (it's in the grout removal packaged dremel...).
Up until this very moment, I thought that was standard!

What I would like to find is a collet so I can use 1/4 inch shafts in my Dremel. Dremel use to have them, but now they're discontinued. Dang. Wonder if anyone else makes 'em? Anyone know?

You're looking for a Foredom Rotary Tool, they take 1/4" shanks.

Make sure you keep that flexshaft straight Stefan. Hang your dremel up from the ceiling if possible so the shaft is hanging straight down.

YUP- I need to work on a hanger as the end of the shaft falls 6 inches short of the desk top- I was running it (they recommend running em for 2 minutes at first to spread the lube around) and I noticed the speed reduction as you bend the shaft!
