... You decide. Here is a profile of the route I had to take over the last few days. I think you will agree there are one or two slightly up hill stretches, but they were compensated for by the easy down hill bits. I planned on doing this stage in about 7 - 10 days, but when I got into the swing of things I couldn't stop. So much so that on the 3rd/last day I think the longest period of rest I had during a full eight hour cycle was 20 mins, and that was just to eat some cookies and re-fill my water bottles. To say I push it to the limits falls kinda short. A few views of the scenery on route. What are those white patches in the first picture? Now we start to go down hill again... At the bottom of the hill I had to find somewhere to camp for the night. Eventually coming across a nice plateau with an ideal backdrop. And somewhere to wash and cool down after a long hard uphill bike push ;D I can assure you that that water was ver ver cold indeed. I'm not sure if those photos really qualify as mountains or hilll? This last one most certainly is a Mountain ... Agri Dagi - Mount Arafat. Taken just after sunrise this morning. Thats all folks

John, you reached Mount Ararat! And what a spectacular picture of it you took! A week ago, I asked you if you feel yourself fatigued or strengtned by the pedalling you have to do daily. Now you answered me: to make such a mountain trip in just three days, it's clear you are stronger now. Glad to see you in the picture, it looks like you protected yourself from the Sun, you're not as burnt as expected Adrian

I just love the pics of the mountains. John, just think of them as long hills and you'll be fine. What you are doing is amazing and I envy you as well (and am out of shape too). LOL
