Hello Everyone, I'm curious about Girasol Opal! I seen it on The Rock Shed's site, Has anyone tumbled this material? Do you have pictures of the finished tumble? Also, Does anyone by chance know the hardness of this Opal and the best polish to use. Thanks, Have a great week, Mike  ke |

I've got a couple pics.   Not positive on the hardness, I tumbled it by itself,but vibe polished it with the rose quartz.And used ao polish. snuffy |

White rose quartz.
Hardness of 7 if no impurities.
I'd like to see like cabbed or faceted.

I think I'll get some to tumble, Great looking batch, Looks really nice with the Rose Quartz! Got a 6-lb barrel waiting on it.

So, it is a crystalline quartz and not an amorphous opal?
