Here's my latest bezel: Somehow I cracked the stone while setting it. You can see the fracture just above the tip. Working on a new one now... Thanks for looking Dan

Great work on both the silver and bone. Too bad about the crack, but it actually looks like a healed fracture - so not too bad at all.

Very nice Dan. The Dino is sweet and the silver work is excellent. Daniel

Very nice! The fracture kinda looks like it belongs there anyway. Really nice work on the silver.

Thanks all.. the cab is one of my mother's favorites, so I'll be giving it to her. I used some super glue to "fix" the crack.. lol.. felt like a kid trying to "fix" her favorite vase before she got home...

Beautiful. I am really interested in pursuing the tube bails also. Love this design:) And the bone:)

Your silverwork is very good, and the simple design goes nicely with the bone. Your repair looks like a healed fracture, probably only noticable to you if you had not told us. Woody

Sweet piece! This question will show how green I am but is the top tube soldered on before or after you set the stone?

Thanks again all.. Christopher~ the stone is set after the bail is soldered on. The heat from the torch might damage the stone....
The tube bail was a little tricky to do... it was cut to size from a sheet of sterling and then formed into a tube using a pair of mandrel pliers.
