I decided to cab the small piece of Rose Quartz that has been sitting on my bench and staring at me for the last few months. It is 5/8" long - somewhat smaller than usual for me but far from the smallest that I have done. Bob A number of different views and on differing backgrounds.

Very beautiful. From the first pic or two, it almost looked faceted - maybe a hybrid facet/cab. Looks great.

It does look very nice. Bet it was weird cabbing a stone so small, huh Bob?

Man, that is a pretty piece, Bobby! It looks like it's a pure crystal with no occlusions. Gorgeous.

Amazing cab! I like the pictures with the white background the most.

What a cool shape. I never thought of cabbing that way. I'll have to give it a try because I love it.

That is so cool!
Pardon my ignorance, but is the back done also?
It looks like you could shine a light through a get a rainbow.
Superb work!

Lowell, Yes, the back is polished to the same quality as all the other surfaces. This is my standard practice on all my cabs. I had some trouble photographing the cab because the light reflected off the polished back surface back up through the stone. This is most noticable in the last photo. Bob
