I'm off for the summer and have had more time than ever to polish things up on the Pixie. (I feel so manly each time I tell people that I work with a Pixie... & reluctantly I must admit to you Freudians - I've got a bad case of Titan envy...) Anyways, when Mel moved a couple years ago, I was privileged (and he was generous enough ) to provide me a 'few' pieces of rough - (actually whatever that wasn't taken away was going to be tossed in the creek behind his house...he even offered me the bark scorpions he had scuttling around) so I visited him a few times and each time I learned a ton while going through his rock piles and listening to him talk about each piece. Well finally I've just started finishing up some small pieces from his parting gift. Here's a quick couple: Mexican: (dang thread looks like a crack across the face.) Owlshead Mountains: Thanks, Mel, for giving me something to work on this summer... And one final piece that isn't Mel's: Blue Moss Agate from the Hauser Beds (found by my wife her first trip out there a couple weeks ago): Thanks for looking, Lowell

Those are all really beautiful. Each is a very special treasure! I would say your pixie performs like a titan and leave it at that Fran

Wow, definitely better than Thanksgiving leftovers. Shoot, I'd be diving into that creek after any he would be tossing.
