Highland Park, the only thing is the belt cover does not look like any I have seen before.
You can get that part from Diamond Pacific.
Looks to be all there, nice find.

That saw is exactly as mine looked when I got it, with the exception that mine is 16in and no window on hood.Gear cover missing as yours.I sent for the parts list at Diamond Pacific and they sent me the info for 18 in,said most parts would fit both.I ordered a gear cover they had fabricated,it wouldnt fit on mine, too big.I took a plastic food container.put some grease in it and put a couple screws on it.Works. Call Don Depue atDiamond Pacific and he will send you diagrams and parts list for 18 in Highland Park.800 253-2954.Have fun with that honey.

I just noticed on the vise 18/20 SS. I went out and looked at mine and it had 14-SS.I'm wondering if mine is a 14 in with a 16 blade. Tony?? So maybe you could put a 20 incher on there?Anyway,I've got a cover I cant use that would maybe fit yours .Make you a real deal IF it would fit.

Hey Snuff, yep sounds like yours is a 14 with a 16" blade.
I have been putting 20" blades in the 18/20 saws I have been rebuilding. I bet the gear cover you got would fit Bobby's saw, although looking at the front it looked like it had a very large gear cover on it, not the normal little square box one.

Was this from the school? That belt guard looks like somebody worried about the exposed belt on the stock cover (my lamp cord got caught in mine several times).

Looking at front they must have made a guard that covered the shaft and bearings too. Looks like a CALOSHA thing to me.

John, I got this saw from a friend who owned a rock shop for many years. He sold the shop a few years back and still had this saw and another Genie that I picked up. He used to get a lot of used equipment from schools and such, so this one could have been in a school environment. Bob

Having been in a school, I could see the original guards being changed. The missing gear cover looks like it too had been changed, and is now lost. The missing paint would indicate a cover over both gear, and drive. Now, you just need to do a Catman job on it. (I should do that too) Woody

This is the cover, blue that I ordered from Diamond Pacific,my saw turned out to be a 14in,this was supposed to fit a 16 or 18 they said. The old cover that had been on there was the same ,red plastic? as the belt guard. There were a few fragments left under the screws.Long story short,75 dollar screwup snuffy

Snuffy, Could you post the dimensions especially the right to left measurement? If it will fit my saw I'm interested in getting it if you are interested in selling it. Bob
