Wow what a treasure score! I'll try a few of them for you. Here goes. #1 Moss agate, maybe a limb cast from Wyoming or Idaho #2 Horse Canyon Agate #3 Malawi Blue Agate. Similar comes from several spots in Africa #4 Garnets #5 Quartz crystal rosettes around agate tubes #6 Pisolite ( fish egg stone) #7 ? #8 Tube agate. Love it but can't pin it down #9 Maybe rhyolite? #10 Carnelian all right with plumy inclusions #11 Moss agate- can be from so many places #12 Same, looks maybe Mexican. I have a similar piece for Mexioc somewhere but agian, moss comes from all over #13 Fortification agate- again can come form so many places? #14 Horse Canyon Agate #15 Pet wood #16 could be epidote though most I've found is darker #17 Dendritic agate, Montana maybe #18 Horse Canyon #19 pet wood #20 Horse canyon moss but again, can come from lots of areas #21 Typical agate nodule- again can come from hundreds of sites #22 Unknown agate, maybe some kind of wood replacement but it's new to me #22 Sure similar to Devils Toenails but toenails is usually softer limestone. Don't know how hard yours is and the shells look to be several types #23 ? some kind of psuedomorph

Awesome! The pet wood is a full round with some great growth rings. You should shave the end smooth and polish it. Leave the rest of it natural.

My favorites are the blue agate and the two weird unknown agates ( the tube and the pseudomorphy one near the end) I like the strange ones.....Mel

#22 - I have found this (or very similar) on the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. Solid and translucent blue agte rind with a soft crumbly quartz interior. It will make a beautiful cab if you can find a quartz potion that is sound.

Nice. I'm glad we're figuring out what they are. The neighbor gave me what amounts to about seven or eight large flat rate boxes full of stuff. I thought I'd died and went to rock hound heaven!

Wow, rock heaven indeed. I can't stop drooling over these. Love the moss agates but that Melawi blue is way cool. #17 does look like Epidote, I've seen some Epidote that is that color, and #18 definitely looks like Montana agate
