This UV-10 batch is a combination of tumbles that have been rolling for MONTHS! I had some snake river agate (I think I got it from 1rockhound, Jason) and some pegion blood (from Catmandewe, won in a contest) that had given me fits for months because it was just taking so very long to get done! It is worth the wait and truthfully, these could have rolled a couple more weeks in rough before I moved them to the vibe in the 120-220 for 3 days (recharged 1 time) 500 for 3 days and then a burnish and finally AO for 3 days followed by a burnish. I never saw any fractures in them until after the final burnish but that is just how it goes sometimes. I still think this is about the best batch I have ever ran! I will add some close ups in a few minutes and oh, I would think that the ceramic filler was at least 1/4-1/3 of the load and that really seemed to help keep the fractures down. Fran

OK, here are some close ups. My hands are really not that red. Seems the camera just wants them to look that way for some reason. Kind of funny because the stones are pretty accurate. Favorite tumbles: I had saw shaped this one. (Flat back and curved sides) Some tumbled cab/preforms: There are some guitar pics I made from Montana agate in there but the close ups were blurry so I will leave it be. Thanks for looking! Fran

Very nice batch! Any idea what the 2 red cabs are? I think I'm trying to cut some preforms in something that looks just like that, and my little tile saw just takes forever to get through it.
The round cab in the last pic is gorgeous! Looks dreamy, kinda wispy. Sorta reminds me of when I used to smoke.
