I've been traveling for work for the past month and haven't had time to get dirty and post anything. Got home last night so I could finish this little batch before I travel some more. Red Tiger Eye Snow Flake Obsidian Pet Wood Bigg's Jasper (I found it next to Biggs so I'm calling it Biggs) Mexican Apache Hickoryite Rainbow Obsidian labradorite Tim

They do look great and they look like lots of work! As good as they look...this 40yo ain't gonna start the plug thing...no way no how! I think at this age stuff starts drooping without any help...don't need my earlobes drooping any lower. Steve

I'm with you Steve, no way I'd punch a hole in my ear. Hell I can't even stand to get a shot. Toad, plugs and gauges are "body jewlery" the hip 20 somtehing's like to wear. These are for ear lobes but they also put large holes in their lips, nose, etc etc. Rocks are cool with this croud because they are "organic," vs. the plastic or glass plugs. My 19 year old daughter told me I should make them.

Those look great! I think your Biggs is actually wascoite. It is from the same area and looks to have the right pattern. As usual, you have done a wonderful job! Fran

Great call on the ID Fran. Wascoite? So it has a name . I found some chunks that had washed down in a huge storm drain just east of Biggs.

Plugs are for ears like mine. ;D Im not a hip 20 something either. lol And I dont mind if people dont like them. Its a look I have admired long before it became a popular fad. It is however, very permanent so its not something to take lightly. I have had my ears this way for a number of years. But I dont care for solid plugs, I prefer tunnels....like the clear ones I have on in the photo. Shannon

Tunnels Shan? I thought they were grommets LOL. You know, like in a tarp... (don't listen to me - got my ears pierced 4 times too...just no big'uns like that)
Nice work Tim. Good to see ya got some time on the wheels again. Haven't done much myself lately.

Well they are cool if I had a place for them I would buy yours! Shan-that freaked me out, LOL Are you saying there is something in your ear in that photo? I think my eyes are going,LOL Well Tim I would think there are not a lot of people making them and you are using some nice materia. Wasco, OR is where that one set comes from-it is super nice material.
